I still just want more background ambience; take half of what's going on in "River Cross" and plonk it in here
that said, maybe it's effective to give this one lots of space to breathe, since there's so much sweet sonic flourish in the rest of the album it even begins to get a little taxing
I love the second two "comes then goes" where the melody lifts higher
Im surprised on how i like this one....yeah i would have loved to have the band do something here...but as far as an eddie solo song, i love it. I love the melody, how the guitar sound, his vocals.

I'll 4 stars this one. Great melody, good lyrics. I really dig a few of the lines in the context of the song - especially the final couplets in each verse
