Matt Cameron is a fucking beast. His performances on Scared of Fear and Running on stern kind of blew my mind
Not because they are complex drum parts by any means, but they are pretty intense drum songs with some aggressive fills. The impressive thing is....he looks like he's sleeping while he does it. With such ease and technique.

He's definitely all about economy of movement and energy nowadays. Less dramatic but always right there on the beat or with the fill.
I can't help but feel that Matt is like an employee in PJ, not a real member.
His multiple songwriting credits and thirty year relationship with the rest of the band suggest otherwise.
I know he's been there for 30 years, don't need to remind me.
He's still an outsider. And he'll always be, and he doesn't care, it seems. When he talks about Soundgarden, he talks about us/we. When he does about PJ he talks about them.

Man, i love his performance in all the new album. Its up there with his best work with the band, which i consider is both Binaural or RA with ST being close.
