But what about "the boys wanna grow" lyrics? Surely we can crap on that?

Consensus broken!

The line about the clairvoyants is the real stinker.

I'm okay with it, since the delivery is kind of playful

Ok I need to understand something, specifically from Trag: what is going on with the drums on this song? You said they’re great, but they too have a weird, digitized sound to them. What’s technically going on with the drums on DOTC compared to DM? And what is it about them that you like?

It’s just a very dry drum sound, heavily dampened and recorded in a dead room. Super fat and full. And then there’s an electronic hi hat that adds some robotic flavor to Matt’s tight drumming.

Will The Gigaton winner face the Dark Matter winner in the quarterfinals?

Mike's aggressive, janky guitar in the verse is the highlight of the song. Sounds like he's channelling some art rock shit.

Stone playing a bass with a mudbucker pickup is a strange choice but it... works?

didn't matt write the drum part on a drum machine? and klinghoffer plays extra drum stuff live?

i agree about mike being the highlight. i remember thinking of prince when i first heard him. i think josh evans compared him to niles rodgers.

I kinda wish Mike's guitar was even louder. He's probably MVP of this song. Maybe Eddie though.

It’s an instant classic.
I can’t point out an MVP.
It’s whoever came up with this tune.
