guys, pearl jam songs you SHOULD like are songs everyone likes that you don't. Black is a good answer. Army Reserve?
I interpreted the thread title to mean "songs that theoretically fall within the scope of your musical interests (you SHOULD like) but, for whatever reason, you don't connect with".
An example of that for me is "All Or None". I couldn't care less about that song.
I interpreted as a little bit of both. Like songs by PJ that everyone except you seem to like (i.e. Yellow Ledbetter for me), but also songs that are musically / thematically similar to what I do like, but for whatever reason I don't like (i.e. Yellow Ledbetter again for me).
yellow led better is sooo good. I order you to go back and give it a good immersive listen. Not a live version.

People seem to like Force Of Nature. I don't get it. If we are talking all their super well known radio standards I like all those.
Not sure if there are a lot of us that love that song, but i definitely do
And for a song that i do like but it seems most love would be insignificance. its a good song, good live song as well, but not one i love or really need to listen to all that often, though like with i am mine, i did wear it out pretty bad because i got the nais single before the album came out and listened to those 2 songs a ton
people seem to not often feel neutral about FoN.
When I say people I mean Stip. I think you said it was a top 5 song for you which boggles my mind since I normally agree with you on all things Pearl Jam. All things Chris Cornell not so much.
I love it way more than most, but i know I'm not the only one!

I thinks it's great. Mostly for the lyrics. The song its self is a little flat and could have been more dynamic but a 4/5

Neither Black nor Do the Evolution would crack my list of favorite Pearl Jam songs. But I don't know if any of the VS tracks would make the cut either. Put me down as a non FoN person.
For tommymctom, here's my least favorite in no order:
Speed of Sound Army Reserve Parachutes Cropduster Ghost You Are Get Right Green Disease Insignificance Grievance Sleight of Hand Pilate Mankind Rearviewmirror
I don't know. Can B just B joking?
Listen, if you're gonna do this, please do it a brand new thread so B doesn't have to make one for you.

I was contemplating which song best suits me for this topic. Took me awhile. But I think I have to agree with In My Tree. I suppose its not so much that I dont like it, I just dont ever seek it out and do not agree with any of the love for it.

My mind is blown. Beast drumming, great intro, strong lyrics, great soaring vocal melody and delivery, driving rhythms with well placed and subtle leads, strong build up and explosiveness towards the end. This is a perfect Pearl Jam song in my books.

I know. i should like it but i dont.
You not agreeing with any of the love for it part was what got me. I thought it was one of those universals. Diversity !

And there's been no mention of Gone yet. Unbelievable. Is it that it's just so inoffensive?

Im not sure anyone likes gone though,
oh yeah, you are good with the album version? i still think the demo and ed solo versions are decent, but i cant get into the full band version at all.
