I think the music is one of the best things Pearl Jam has ever done. I still can't get on board with the lyrics.

did stone or ed write the lyrics? i remember reading ed saying something about it being about the arrogance of man.

This was my first "favorite" song on riot act, but it got kinda stale after a month or so and i wasn't really fond of it for years after that, but its gotten back to being an enjoyable listen for me in recent years

Suggestion: vinyl, headphones and you can see Stone clearly there.

This and Ghost are definitely the two most improved songs on Riot Act for me. I remember I always used to skip past them to get to I Am Mine, but I love them now.

I've been listening to Riot Act a lot the last few days, and yeah, this song is incredible. So so good.

I miss the Matt Cam so much. I learnt to drum by watching the Touring Band Matt Cams.
