I mean, I tend to listen to whole albums. But sometimes I skip. However, Riot Act, though not my #1 favorite PJ album, is the only PJ album that I never skip around on.
I think Riot Act and Yield are PJ's two best-paced albums.
Loved this song from the first spin. Matt Cameron does some great work with the group, In the Moonlight and Evacuation are further personal favourites. I was in a phase of only wanting to hear new songs on the 2003 tour and this was number one for sure. It was a nice moment in time. Have yet to see another great song from that era live - Ghost. Or All or None for that matter.
i was about to say, the drums are my favorite part of this song, what happening w/ them? thanks for the answer. i expect harmless to fill in the finer points later.
Parachutes has one of my favorite things Mike has done in the whole catalog (that section during "war, break the sky...") and the ironic thing is that it requires him, a guy not usually known for his subtle playing, to hang back the entire song for the part to have it's impact.

yes with very few exceptions less mike is much, much more
The drums on this song are good. I'd say Riot Act was the last time Matt recorded drumming which was great. The song gets a 4.
But anyone who thinks that Parachutes is better than anything on Riot Act is kinda dumb.

I am saying nothing, I am just rolling my eyes at you.
