This was the last PJ song that debuted and immediately blew me away. I've come around to that level of rabid fandom on others since, but it's taken some time (You Are, All or None, Army Reserve, The Fixer...). But right out of the gate, this song punched me in the gut the same as NAIS, Hail, Hail, Brain of J.

Nothing since they debuted Grievance on tv has hit me the same way.

God after listening to live versions and then the studio again, I think this might be the song in their discography that most improves live. The studio track is like a 2/5 compared to the 4/5 of live

They've been on a pretty consistent first song debut tear for me since Yield

The Fixer (unless we heard got some first, which did not blow me away on conan, though it was solid enough)

Yeah, studio grievance kinda sucks. Love it live, but everything on the studio version sounds wrong.
