It really was. PJ is a very difficult band to cover. Ed's voice is so distinct and any attempt to emulate it always fall flat. You have to do a different spin on it and this is an excellent example.

I love this song. One of my favorites from Yield. It’s one of the best examples of that “layered” sound yield has, the way the bass, piano, and second guitar dance with each other.
