Added a poll. 3 stars - probably second from the bottom on Yield for me. It is fun live, though. Towards the bottom of the catalog in terms of verse lyrics

I'd give this song 2.5 stars if I could. Love Stone and Jack's work in particular. I find Eddie's vocals to be really dull and kind of cumbersome to get through, and the chorus actually grates on my ears a little bit.

For me, that's arguably the two best songs at the bottom.
both of those songs always felt incomplete to me - and they showcase some of the nasaly vocal choices Eddie was often making during No Code and Yield (there were rumbling in Vitalogy) that is among the Eddie vocals I like the least. Given to Fly is the money winning anthem on Yield for me
Funny timing, as I listened to Yield all the way through last night, which was probably the first time in a while I'd sat down and listened to a PJ record straight through. It's amazing how well the album's aged, and it really came through on this song and Low Light how well-crafted the arrangements are and how good the album still sounds. I'm still finding things in the arrangement and production choices, but it never feels worked over, either. This probably hovers somewhere between 4 and 5 stars.
Man, I love Pilate. I think seeing that in Missoula in '18 was more of a highlight for me than seeing Fatal.
I love it too. I saw it in St. Louis in 2010, shortly after they had resurrected it as part of that Philly '09 run, and I was elated. The highlight of the night for me for sure.

ditto for this show. So happy to get it live then.

I was there, and I don't even remember it.

Same! Listened to it fully last weekend and it was so pleasurable to pick up some of the little flourishes and accents that I had forgotten. Yield more than any album has the most subtle background notes that add so much depth and atmosphere to songs. And In Hiding is one of the ones that hit me hard.
