Their fans to be honest.
Never in any gathered group of people have I met such a concentration of pure asshole classic. . I kid you not...no matter the venue or state. It's a phenomenon but still rather upsetting

I'm ashamed at how mainstream they were in the 90's. Why couldn't my favorite band growing up have been someone edgier? Like Fugazi.

That they consequently seem to have prioritized commerciality over creative risk-taking the last 15 years or so... I mean I see that they're doing great things for a lot of causes for their money (porbably more than any big act of their caliber and legend) but they could've done it while keeping their artistic integrity.
Oh, and also thier merch. I mean when have you been excited about wearing a Pearl Jam T-shirt from the last 20 years?

I would say songs like Future Days.
But also people talking about them as fans without knowing stuff. Its annoying.

Fighting Ticketmaster so fucking hard and then turning around and attaching their names to a multimillion dollar hotel that most finds could never in their dreams afford.

I'd put up with a lot of this shit if it wasn't for the complete creative bankruptcy.

Yeah they seem to be out of ideas.
I saw a red baseball cap with ‘make pearl jam angry again’ on it.
To me it sounds like they’re trying to do just that.
They’re old. It’s embarrassing. Hoped they’d go all folly and relax as they got older.
Ah well.

Yeah that was bad.
Also not hiring an organ player until 2003. Something was missing before and it was that sweet Boom sound.
