The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
We broke up over pearl jam. Evenflow was the seed of the argument but it extended beyond that. She said she thought Ten was the band's best album by far and that did it for me. I tried to explain why No Code, Yield, even Binaural might be better than Ten. I tried to be peaceful and reason but I couldn't get through. She broke up with me because I think Ten is, at best, their 4th best album.

my wife is fairly apathetic about PJ, the only interest in them being that I'm interested in them. but she did boo Boom at a concert, and i knew from the bottom of my heart that I was with my soulmate.

Must have been quite a serious relationship.
It seems more likely that this is a completely make-believe relationship. Manti Te'o-style.

I can survive if my significant other does not like bands I like, but it is great that my girlfriend and I are on the same page musically. What solidified her awesomeness in my book was her first Pearl Jam concert story. She was 15 and really wanted to see Pearl Jam back in 1995. They weren't touring nearby, so what did she do? She pretended she was staying at a friend's place for a few days and fucking took a train from SoCal to Montana with her friend and caught that awesome 10 Club show. She thinks she was nuts for doing this, but I think she is a hero.

That is awesome. I don't think my wife would go to a PJ show if they were playing in our backyard.
