i was hoping someone would comment on this somewhere, it didn't seem like anyone here was talking about the webcast at all. jeff's bit definitely was the most interesting thing musically in that webcast, though i suspect some of the interstitial music used might hold some interest to us if we knew more about it.

the ament thing was billed in the webcast announcement as 'deaf charlie feat. jeff ament and john wicks', so it was unclear to me whether it was an existing band of some sort that just has jeff/john with them, or if this is a new ament band/project outright. the video didn't make it any clearer, though its focus on jeff/john and the outfits ala rndm seems to suggest it's their deal. i guess we'll see.

Its a new band. They have an Insta page.

I wish I found any of Jeff's work outside of Pearl Jam even barely listenable.

Im sorry you dont like it really...i love his creativity. The only one i dont care about it is the second solo album, While My Heart Beats.

I really enjoyed while my heart beats and listened to it at lot when it first came out. It’s been a while now, must give it a spin soon.

Heaven/hell is amazing though! When it came out I felt frustrated that Pearl Jam couldn’t or rather wouldn’t deliver anything as interesting. Thankfully Gigaton delivered and hopefully Josh Evans will be sticking around!

Would love another RNDM album but looking forward to hearing what comes out of Deaf Charlie. The song they played for Ohana fest was alright but didn’t really grab me on first listen but I’m sure there will be plenty more to enjoy.

yeah, Heaven/Hell and RNDM are my favorites from him. I also enjoy Tone a lot. I love the rawness of it.

I kinda liked the video shown at Ohana. Super weird.
