Yeah, he is way better than in the previous album and Tone, while this one was more a collection of demos.
His songwriting has been improving too, going to different places, really experimenting a lot with different moods. And the sound of the album is also really cool.

I'm enjoying this. The Noise, the Noise is really good.

I still have not heard this because I am waiting for the record to show up. Even though I preordered on the first day, it’s still not here despite the album coming out a week ago.

It's Stone's fault.

I love that one. Kinda feel it should have been a PJ song.

Richard Stuverud is his go to drummer (who was also Jeff's pick when they eventually went for jack irons..) for all of his projects.
I follow that guy on fb, he's kinda funny.

Once again he is in Seattle recording with Jeff...

Thanks for posting that. Stuverad was amazing in Three Fish, and certainly a strong part of RNDM (though his performances here were more straight-forward). I believe he's part of the 10C now, or maybe Ames Bros? I remember Jeff talking about that on a podcast a while back.

Anyway, those MPS hats stand for "Montana Pool Service," Jeff's org he uses for all his skate park work. Lots of skateboarders around MT wear them, and I always get excited when I see them outside the Treasure State.

Don't think he's in the 10C, Brad drummer Regan Hagar is at times. He's sure is an amazing drummer! He's a drumteacher in the Bay-area I think (from what he shares on fb).

Stuverud is awesome. I went to Japan last year and bought some records in a few places, and there were a lot of Tower Records there...one afternoon i go to the Shibuya one and began to search for cool stuff and they had a whole section of RNDM cds. Bought Ghost Stories there, took a pic and sent it to Richard via Fbook.
The guy was so so happy to see it.

Finally got it. Excellent album echoing most of what was said here already.

Favorite tune?
Favorite tune?
The Noise The Noise is pretty great, as is The Door, Moment of Impact, Somewhere (fun song), and I really enjoyed Are You Truing. Favorite has to be the extended Safe in the Car. Drugs is kinda crazy and interesting in that it started almost chaotic and turns into something slightly more conventional to the point where I thought it was a song change at first.

I am a little bummed that the vinyl doesn’t come with a digital version since I only really get to listen to records on the weekends.
