+1, saw them DC years ago promoting their album and the energy was fantastic; got a close up shot of Mike too. Also absolutely want another RNDM album, also saw them at rock and roll hotel in DC. Trouble trumps just about every new PJ song that's come out in the last decade.

Im not a big fan of that Tres Mountain album. The live shows seemed amazing though.

Yeah, I saw them at the Grammercy Theater in NYC. They were awesome, particularly with Mike there.

I love Jeff and everything about what he's doing these days. I think his strength is aesthetic. He seems to always choose cool atmospheres and explores moods in a very brave manner. But as someone noted above, he doesn't have that X factor aspect that makes him palatable - the gift for melody and hooks, the voice, that thing that makes an artist rise above. This is why he's best (and I'm sure he knows this better than anyone and would acknowledge it) when he's collaborating with someone. He's a great great "band guy".

I woke up with this song in my head. I haven’t heard it for days. So I listened this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait for this album.

Jeff really missed a trick here in calling himself “Ament”, not “JA”, and not then titling the album “No”.

Upcoming/forthcoming finally has a date. He also posted a video for Safe in the Car. I haven’t checked it out yet but sounds cool per Rolling Stone.
