march madness 2018 ideas

What would people like to see this year. We've done almost everything.

We did a survivor style tournament once many years ago, with the winners facing off against each other. Have we done that recently?

Hmm... Have we done best of each album, then the winners (or top 2 or 3, whatever works) from each album face each other?
We'd finally get to know which song on each album RM thinks is best.

Or is that what survivor style meant?

Is that where we have a list of songs and vote for the one we want to leave?

We could do that per album and then have a face off between the survivors?

List an album. Pick 1 song. Winner advances.

flip it upside down. none of this cliche "best" stuff anymore, we need a bracket for pj's worst song.

How about we hold off until pearl jam gives us some new material.

Or lets do a march madness LIVE! Edition

What about everything involving pearl Jam members that's not Pearl Jam?

I'd be into this. I might actually find some new music to enjoy.

I’m generally bored to death by PJ side projects.

I'd like to see a worst PJ song tournament.

 Yeah, I forgot about that one. It is indeed the worst, let's move along to the other ideas.

We've done a worst of tournament before. The way to do it and not make it boring is to eliminate the songs most likely to win (barack around the clock, pry to, etc) so the last few rounds are fun and hard to vote on.

To do this, I'd advocate going back to a previous best of tournament and eliminate all songs that didn't survive the first round, and then find out what is the worst of the remaining songs.

I could get in on a "worst of." That could be fun. Or maybe throw in the core band's solo albums (Bayleaf, Into the Wild, Tone, etc) and see if any of those can stand with the big boys? I don't know.

Just do the one where In My Tree finally wins.
