All of these guys (OK, maybe not Mike) make better, more interesting music outside of the band than they do in.

I disagree with this. I don't think Ed's solo stuff is as good as even the new, crappy Pearl Jam albums

Ed's solo stuff doesn't really interest me. He could get together such an amazing ensemble. And I've found his PJ contributions of late to be rather ordinary too.

Looking forward to this record. WWC was amazing, especially those songs were Matt did the vocals.

I also like the fact that he didn't drum on it. Or am I mistaken?

Seems like all the guys (except Mike) are making great solo records. I especially like that 2nd solo record by Jeff, 'While My Heart Beats' >> Lightning Bolt.

And when the band is not very active, or no new PJ music is in sight. I really love they are just releasing side project or solo records.

BTW. is this a vinyl only release?

Seriously--I'm still going to buy but wanted my paws on a CD rather than a shit digital download. Oh well

I'm sure there'll be a CD within a few months. Just wait it out.

The single is great and it got me to listen his cover of that Eagles Of Death Metal song...man, that is awesome!

I think Into the Wild is better than their last three studio albums. Shrugs.

No, I think you're right.

no, the drummer for Bowies blackstar album drummed on it. which i find kind of disappointing since Matt's probably my favourite drummer.
