Fuck. That's a good line. Maybe one of ed's best.
Damn.
Agreed.
Charleston ‘96, my second PJ show, the first being the night before in Charlotte. I’m with two very good friends at the time. One of them had a band aid on his hand and at that I went to grab his hand. He gave me a quick “wtf are you doing?” look, as it came right after “are you woman enough to be my man” before I turned it so that he could see the band aid, at which point we did a quick fist bump to the beat. Well it was cool in the moment.
I, too, was at that Charlotte show.

This reminds me of the time (Chicago '03, I think) when I turned to my cousin right after Eddie sang the "egg rolling thick and heavy" line, right as my cousin was finishing scrambling some eggs in a bowl, and we both just nodded like, "Aw yeah, buddy."

I am. I’m also a big fan of the middle stuff and to a lesser extent, the later stuff. My 5 favorite Pearl Jam songs are Of the Girl, You Are, Corduroy, Life Wasted and Yellow Moon. I don’t think my personal opinions on Pearl Jam songs to have much or anything to do with what is considered a “classic.”
These definitions of classic are what led me to list the songs I did. •Belonging to the highest rank or class. •Having lasting significance of worth. Enduring. •Historically memorable
I meant to include Nothingman on the list as well.
