«Aya Davanita (Remastered) · Pearl Jam Vitalogy ℗ 1994 Epic Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment
Released on: 1994-11-22 Accordion, Guitar, Vocal: Eddie Vedder Bass, Vocal: Jeff Ament Lyricist: S. Gossard Guitar, Vocal: Stone Gossard Guitar, Slide Guitar, Vocal: Mike McCready Drums: Dave Abbruzzese Mixing Engineer, Producer: Brendan O' Brien Engineer: Nick DiDia Assistant Engineer: Adam Kasper Assistant Engineer: John Burton Assistant Engineer: Trina Shoemaker Assistant Engineer: Kevin Scott Assistant Engineer: Carem Constanzo Recording Engineer: Brendan O'Brien
These credits are wrong! It is me playing bass and the tremelo guitar parts! Brendon is playing the awesome finger picking guitars. Eddie didn't play or sing on the track. Stone did the vocals. I don't think Jeff or Mike did any work on this one. Trina wasnt involved. This was recorded at Southern Tracks in Atlanta. Trina was working with us in New Orleans.»

Someone recently called him out on his posts, telling him he shouldn't obsess over the past with PJ so much. He said he wasn't obsessing and was basically fine. Idk, sitting around reading credits on your old albums then calling out the typos 30 years later seems a little... obsessive.

1. I thought it was pretty well known that Stone is singing on that song. It sure sounds like him.
2. Nobody reading a Dave Abbruzzese internet post in the year 2022 has any business scolding him about being stuck in the past.
3. If I had played on Vitalogy, you’d still be hearing about that shit from me too.
4. I mean, Ed is definitely in there though. Color me skeptical about “accordion,” but you can hear his voice in the second half. Maybe his parts are overdubbed.
