I saw this during the week and really enjoyed it. Was hugely surprised to see a group of 4 very hot 20-something girls rock in to the theatre. Who knew PJ could still pull the ladies??
Anyways, the tunes were great and sounded real nice, and the Cubs stuff was fine. I'm no baseball fan but I like sport in general, so...
The wife didn't know the Cubs won until they won game 7 in the film! Cracked me up when she told me that. She also complained at how fast they were playing, in particular GtF. Fair enough.
I have always hung around to watch the end credits for any movie I see in the cinema, so I took the performance of MYM at the end to be the bands commentary on the general rudeness of leaving a film before the very end.
I gotta give PJ big props as they can still really bring out the emotions in me, even when I think I'm moving away from them. In truth there's not another group out there that hits me as hard.

I recommend it, especially with a few beers. Enjoyable.
That review where the girl said it was "a story about 2 fans" one of which was her Dad, was totally full of shit. I'm actually not sure what movie she watched.

Have you seen the movie yet? If not, STFU until you do, then you'll realize why inside job is on there. There's a story behind it, it isn't just "a bunch of cool songs", mjd. I really don't think you get this band at all. You don't understand the love for Last Exit? JFC.

'Snatcher and I have tentative plans to see this on Tuesday night, but I'm not sure our friendship has reached the "let me cry on your shoulder" point just yet.

Well, share a popcorn and be open to new experiences.
