The MLB reissue boxset had the original releases 'Apple' and 'Shine', both remastered. Also included were the Love Bone Affair DVD and two discs of outtakes.
That Malfunkshun documentary is something else, and highly recommended btw. It's both real amazing and sad...
No way. I'm pretty sure I got mine for like $30-$40. The doc is really good. The music is kinda terrible though.

Surviving members of Mother Love Bone reunite for first performance in eight years
The surviving members of Mother Love Bone reunited for the first time in eight years over the weekend as part of a benefit show put on by Seattle SMASH (Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare) at Seattle’s Neptune Theatre.
Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Bruce Fairweather, and Greg? Gilmore took the stage for a brief five-song set that featured performances of “Man of Golden Words”, “Bone China”, “Stargazer”, “Stardog Champion”, and a cover of Argent’s “Hold Your Head Up”. In place of late frontman Andrew Wood, the group recruited a pair of local singers in Shawn Smith (Pigeonhead) and Ohm Johari (Hell’s Belles). Watch fan-shot video of the reunion below.
Must have been the first time in a few years that Stone and Shawn Smith played together too, if i'm not mistaken.

I'm surprised the band didn't tap Greg? Gilmore to play drums in Pearl Jam, given the trouble they had keeping drummers in the early years.
True, like Regan Hagar he was never considered. Even Chris Friel played on the Gossard demos.
When Dave A was fired all the members had their guy. They went with Jack who was Eddie's pick. Josh Freese was Stone's pick. Chris Friel was once again Mike's pick and Richard Stuverud was Jeff's pick.
