Can I post here that my inlaws keep buying us Kindle Fires, and they suck. Well, actually, the Amazon app store sucks. If that were better, Kindles would be pretty cool.

Been doing some testing at work with the Samsung S9.
It's a beautiful phone, but I couldn't wait to get back to my Pixel 2.
Samsung's instance to hinder their phones with all the ridiculous hand gestures, terrible interface (TouchWiz) and laughable Bixby is perplexing.
Why waste the development dollars on this shit? Why not just let Google do all the heavy lifting for you?

I updated my iOS last night and now my screen looks blown out and weird and ugly and I can’t get it back to how I like it. Fucking Apple.

New company does a monthly stipend instead of company-issued cell phones.
Had to give back my Pixel 3.
Was kinda tempted to do a 12-month lease (at $12 a month!) with the Galaxy S10, but I can't go back to the bloat of non-vanilla Android. No costume rom and/or minilamist launcher can replicate the Pixel experience.
I guess I'll use my old iPhone SE until the Pixel 3a come out in a month or so.

Glad I waited for the Pixel 3a. Camera's better than the S10 and iPhone Xs and it really only sacrifices shit that I don't need/want.
