I can't figure out how to get the MAC or IP address from our smart bulbs so I can label those.

Might have to do a little trial and error?

Several of the MAC addresses are "Espressif" devices. I'll have to count them up and see if the number corresponds to my lightbulbs. I don't need to know WHICH lightbulb is which. I just need to know that a device is a lightbulb. It's not like i'd prioritize one over another.

Unplug all the light bulbs, then plug them in one at a time and label them as they appear.

This labeling nonsense is already more work than I wanted to get into, and your suggest requires a ladder ...

I've finally listed to enough podcasts that I am considering a pair of Raycon earbuds. I've never owned a pair of earbuds that didn't fall out of my ears. Are these going to be any different?

I'm not the kind of person who is super worried about sound quality. As long as it's not complete and total shit, I'll be fine.

But if I drop $70 or $80 on earbuds that fall out of my ears after a week of running, I'm going to be furious.

Any thoughts?

We have both. The stick vacs are surprisingly far superior, even for doing a whole house vac.

V7 Animal. It's a lower end model, bit is still fantastic. We can vac the entire house if we use the Max mode sparingly.

Higher models mainly have some more suction, bigger battery and dust chamber capacity (important if you have a larger house).

The power head is a must, which I think comes with most/all models.

To give you an idea, our carpet is about 6 years old. Reasonably deep pile. We'd been using a Dyson DC47 multifloor vac for years, probably the best and most reliable floor vac we've owned. First vac with the V7 pulled out a full tank of dust and dog hair from just the lounge room carpet alone. Subsequent vacs continue to being more out. The carpet always seemed clean after a vac with the DC47, but evidently not.

The battery is rechargeable, but takes a while to charge. Ours suits us, and we vacuum daily. If not more once the kids make a mess with something. You can buy extra batteries if needed, but if you have a larger house, I'd recommend getting one of the higher models.

Mainly though, it's so much easier using this thing rather than dragging a floor vac around. The old DC47 doesn't really get used anymore.

:hooray: $265 on Amazon. I'm going to start right here and see if anything similar convinces me, but this sounds perfect. Thanks bud.
