I bought a S7 off ebay, but after 2 days of struggling with it (I'd been an iPhone user for about 9 years), I just couldn't put forth the time and energy in learning an entirely new OS and getting it to work with my computer. I know it's doable, but it was just too overwhelming. So, I bought the new iPhone 7 and am just selling the S7 for what I paid.

FWIW, the new iPhone is pretty solid so far. The "no headphone jack" thing still really pisses me off bc I have this stupid dongle now. And I had to get a case bc I can't hold this phone for shit. But overall, the performance is good.

I also moved from Verizon to Cricket and am loving it. This iPhone will be paid for in about 11 months due to the savings in my monthly bill.

I've been wanting to buy a new phone for a while and now I've been forced to -- smashed my screen on the ground on Christmas eve (the SECOND TIME this has happened). What should I get? Those Google phones any good?

My phone is glitchy as hell and it's time for a new one. It's all paid off and eligible for an upgrade. I'm an iPhone user and don't plan on changing that anytime soon. This one's a 6 Plus. The 7 Plus is probably what I'm aiming for unless the 8 Plus is a huge upgrade. I don't think it is, right?

Bugger all difference IMO. Same screen, same camera, but slightly faster chip in the 8.

The only major difference I see is that the 8 has wireless/fast charging, which isn't really a deal breaker in my book. You'll need to buy a wireless charger anyway, and the phones/batteries tend to get hot when charging that way.

I just got a Google pixel 2 and I love it. The pictures it takes are fantastic plus it's much smarter than any other phone I had .

It doesn't screw up when I'm speaking texts or searches or messages etc. It's very accurate

Plus its auto correct is actually helpful and not stupid and does NOT piss me off . If a phone doesn't piss you off, that's good, right,?

IT HAS features like if you click the on button twice fast, the camera cones on ready to take a picture . And if you squeeze the bottom of the phine, Google assistant us activated . There's more, but I'm tired, do here's this https://youtu.be/jIr7Cy1aLQM

Click that, it's fun and not boring :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

Went with the 7 plus. I'm just happy to have a non-glitchy phone again. What's with this 3D touch stuff?

The Pixel 2 is the single best piece of electronics I have ever owned.

My iPhone X and S9 (I need all the latest phones for my job) are collecting dust.

Is the screen as good? No. Does it have wireless charging? No.

But, holy fuck, the hardware + vanilla Android is such an amazing experience. It just can't be beat.

Wow. You've always been an iOS dude. At least, as long as I've read your tech support posts. My wife loves her Pixel too and I'm secretly jealous of it.

My iPhone 5 is on its last legs. Seriously considering one of those minimalist phones that don't allow you to do much beyond text and music. Anyone using something like this? Do you find yourself generally more happy and fulfilled, or is this a pipe dream?

My phone was destroyed so I went ahead and ordered a Galaxy S9. I looked into the Pixel 2 but it's way too fucking expensive down here.
