If you want the change to be permanent, convert the song after setting the limits. That's what I do to get audio books into smaller bits when they're one big file.

At the time the ipod was the best thing out there. Now I'm just ingrained far enough into iTunes that I don't know what to do with my 200GB+ of music with another service. Though I've been tempted to upload everything into Google music.
Now...well. I suppose there's a reason I keep getting Forbes alerts about the iphone's major problems. (either that or google notes has no clue that it's reposting the same article over and over again)

I use iTunes to backup/restore my phones and put music on them. For that, it works quite well. I don't have any other use for it, though. I'd rather do that than use Android.
