The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
My general feeling is 7 > 10 > 8, with the caveat that official Windows 7 support ended earlier this year and you'll start seeing it phased out in more and more places next year.
As I said earlier in this thread, if you have a decent screen/monitor (not the typical 1366 x 768 horseshit) you should upgrade because 10 does a better job of scaling images and text. It also does a better job of cleaning (trimming) SSDs. On the downside 10 is slightly more power hungry.
8 is working fine for me at the moment, so I don't see a reason to upgrade.
I'm still dicking around with Windows 8, so bear with me. The task manager is not a tab-able window, and is not on top by default. Who thought that was a good idea? What other features do I need to fix before I use them?
