Someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've set my PC to have a static ip, and in my router I've set the port my bittorrent client uses to forward to my pc's ip address, but I'm still not getting any incoming connections and when I use one of those web based services to check if the port is open it comes up closed. Anyone smarter than me have any ideas? |

This is serious business. Downloading the Wildflowers & All the Rest 5 cd set in 24-bit really killed my ratio. |

why no dynamic ip |

Post subject: | Re: Port Forwarding |
Because you need the pc to have a consistent internal ip address. |

I don't know what makes me feel dumber: the fact that I didn't think of this or the fact that I can't figure out how to get it done now that I have. Related question: Should I stop using AVG and just use windows firewall? |
