Recently switched back to Spotify after 3 years on Play Music.

I love it, but the app on my Pixel 2 keeps activating itself when I just want to listen to the desktop app on my MBP. I close the app on my phone, but then it kicks back on a few minutes later.

Anyone else have this problem?

yeah it does this on iphone too. whenever you're playing from one device, the other device acts as a remote control. or, you can press the device icon and seamlessly flip over to listening to your phone. it's pretty much useless for 99.97% of the situations I've seen it.
