music player problem on android

Wed August 09, 2017 11:14 pm

I added a bunch of new songs and at first it said an odd format and couldn't play (even tho they were mp3s).. next it would just randomly delete the new stuff I added after an hour or 2

Now when I just tried go add a new folder of songs.. at first they sounded fine when the phone was still plugged to the computer, but when I unplugged and put on my earphones it was like jumbled polka instead of my songs

I have no clue what's wrong.. I rebooted both the computer and phone but that didn't help

Also, what music app are you using? Media monkey is pretty great for Android

Note 3 and the regular music app

It's not only the app as it is the files mysteriously deleting from my phone shortly after they're on

Try VirusWipe for Android

Thanks

The thing is, if it's a virus that's weird that adding new music is the only thing it messes with

Like I use my phone for 7000 other things and everything else is fine

Oh actually it's deleting new pictures I take with my regular camera, but saved photos from snap chat are ok

Are you putting everything on the SD card or the phone storage?

If you're using an SD card, I'd say it's cactus.

From what I am reading, it seems like an SD issue.. what is a cactus?? Can I fix the SD card thru the phone or computer without losing the data on it??

Is your SD card full?

Android will start deleting stuff once storage gets full. And pics and music are usually the first to go.

You may have clicked through a warning message.

Def the SD card.. I put the album on my regular phone memory and it plays fine

I have tons of memory left on card.. at least 30 gigs
