Former coworker’s husband was fired earlier this week. So, nice person that I am - I message her to ask her how she is doing. She thanks me for checking on them, tells me they will be starting their own business, and then includes this in her message.

Image

These two people roused the staff to hate our CEO, including to the tune of working very hard to get an investor to oust our CEO. In the process, our investor bailed on the deal. I’m speculating that it has to do with how he specifically told this set of leaders to work on their teamwork. CEO is still there, along with the remaining staff that are rational human beings and aren’t sloppy savages.

This bible scripture pisses me off. Not because I don’t agree with it, in general, but because she used it to “explain” how much better she thought she was than the CEO - while simultaneously playing the victim.

I like my boss. I don’t think he’s a crook. He’s a business man with an innovative product. He’s also not a micromanaging asshole. Or a diva, like the aforementioned former staff.

*siiiigh* Thanks for listening, RM. I've been keeping my disgust bottled up for about 6 months.

My redneck kinfolk commenting on the World Cup are pretty hilarious.

Pretty sure they think Portugal is in South America.

Soccer has come a long way. If rednecks are watching it now, that’s really something.

If you're heading for Portugal, it's due south.

Ran Participated in the Peachtree Road Race and an afternoon cookout. That part was with the fam so it wasn't like a day at the lake or fun pool party.
Oddly since my passive aggressive post this morning three different people have asked about my weekend plans.

A family mbr has been in the hospital recently, and she keeps posting pictures of her "drawings" (this is what she calls them). They are actually pages from a Wal-Mart coloring book.

That's a lot of information, yet all of it seems equally important because of the all caps.
