Simplify it even more and just never smoke in front of kids. Eat a vegetable or do some push-ups in front of them instead.

It's important for adults to model good behavior to kids. Why normalize something that can set them back developmentally?
I don't do it in front of the kids, and I put it out as soon as I heard them outside.
Also, if it's normalized, then kids don't demonize it, but they are inherently less curious about it. Just like other medications or 'drugs,' they know it should only be used responsibly as adults or under doctor supervision. MJ is a part of life that's not going away anytime soon, so let's teach responsibility and self-control, instead of being afraid of it... or am I just way off base here?

Has this thread really turned into "420 blaze it faggot" now?
Believe it or not, even a loud mouthed edge lord like me tries to conduct proper behavior if I have to be around kids. But that said, I haven't been around kids in a long time and luckily none of my friends are popping them out yet either.
Also I'm out of weed and won't be getting any until the 11th, so that sucks.

Some people need to go back a few pages... I was on my own porch, and the kids came outside after I lit up. As soon as I knew they were outside, I put it out.
It's not like I jumped into a group of children and blazed!

If weed is something a kids lame ass dad uses then they are going to be pulled towards something else, think Xanax or even meth. It's really simple.

this is also pretty dumb
Not really. But I wouldn't expect a drug abuser such as yourself to have a clear perspective.
I suppose in a few more years it will be commonplace for a father to let his 12 year old son take his first hit at the family barbeque. Everyone will stand around laughing at how cute it is.
