Only attempt. Total luck on the timing. 10 second pause on the camera went to foul line and made it. You should be way more impressed I made a ft than the pic itself

Not trying to give strat a hard time, am genuinely curious:

Do most guys not button the top button when they're wearing a tie? Or is this one of those "it was late in the date so I loosened up a bit" sort of things?

Because I would love to stop buttoning my top button when I wear a tie, but I feel that I need permission from society first.

we're skipping ahead here... why aren't we asking why strat wears a suit to the pool?

This is a fair question.

No one I know (I work in a business where ties are required) buttons their top button at any point during the day/night.

This is all new to me. I wonder if it is more "traditional" because I am in the south, but generally everyone who wears a proper suit buttons the top button. It is that way when I travel too, with businessmen wearing suits.

Oh yeah, I see plenty of others button all the way. But most people I know in my industry don't. They also don't loosen their ties too much, either. The tie is high and tight but the top button is left open. If that makes sense.

Not buttoning the top button with a tie is a middle finger in the face of civilized society, you heathens. I'm going to get Sister Mary Ellen Christine after every single one of you. Then you'll be sorry.

I do that because I have a fat neck.

I do it because the top button feels like it's choking the fuck out of me. I don't think I have a particularly fat neck, though. It's just far more comfortable.

I went to the beach for the first time this summer. The water was goddamn freezing. I did not wear a jacket and tie to the beach.

The water was freezing when I was at Acadia a few weekends ago. But after climbing a mountain I was so hot I walked to the end of the dock on our campsite and just plunged right in. It was terrible and amazing at the same time.

I also did not wear a jacket and tie.
