It was a wonderful experience. The weather made it extremely taxing. Colder than any day I trained. 40 mph gusts of wind. The wind was actually knocking people off balance on the Verrazano. It was a two straight miles of frigid temps and intense winds.

Joints were on fire by the end. Legs were tight and exhausted. But I beat the time I was aiming for. And my wife PR'd. She beat her best marathon by 8 mins.

We saw Bill Cunningham taking photos near the finish line. It was a great, great experience.

Superstore has the best cheap pyjama pants. Wait, do you guys have those in America? If not I might try Target. We just got those hear and I'm finding it's the best place to shop seeing as I feel uncomfortable anywhere trendier.

thing is, it's not like people are going to be angry because they can't take part in scintillating conversation in the ass blowing thread etc. just because this one exists, so the whole idea of redundancy or relevance is kind of stupid considering the RM as a message board, or message boards in general are fairly dead as far as social media goes, and how in god's name anyone would be bothered by an 'ask RM' thread being made as opposed to say a 'talk about your day' thread is fairly ridiculous.
I'm baffled how this is any more lame than any thread anywhere on this board.
it's here for people to hang out, talk, and maybe get some laughs or some valid information. in that way it's indeed extremely relevant and not at all redundant if anyone gets something out of it.

but, yeah, i can see how the wealthy eddie veddar meme thread is much more worthwhile to participate in or whatever.

basically if it's a problem for you or anyone, my best suggestion would be- start another thread.
ta-da- no more problem- you get to talk about whatever you want and no one else can accuse you of just being a whiny bitch - instead they'll participate in your threads and this one will die- like innumerable others over the course of RM history.
