Granted I’ve only been to CO once, and Denver at that, but the way you and LV constantly talk about that city leads me to believe that Austin would be same as it ever was for you. Though easy access to a myriad of Texas backroads is never a bad thing.

Oh I would absolutely be near the coast

some personal experience: seasonal affective disorder is real, and seattle residents/natives are miserably cliquish and not especially inviting to newcomers

I love food and I love music. I miss seeing shows and miss being around people that have similar interests as me.

its amazing....I live in the mountains yet have no friends to hike with or ski with. Most of my friends are at shitty music festivals every weekend, or are out partying, and not super into staying in a tent for a weekend. Or they have kids. The other side of that is the bro's who ride around the mountain all witner smoking pot and being generally douche baggy. I definitely don't have anyone to play music with as I hate jam bands and bluegrass.

I also dont smoke pot.

Im also past the partying phase.

Im am an inbetweener......

I think i'd be equally happy as i am miserable no matter where i end up living.

Hopefully one day ill just be splitting my time between Vail, Spain, and Scotland with numerous visits to Austin.

i was unable to discern such, given the vulcanized rubber and neoprene fondness that ten months of saturation inspires

Also, Seattle isn't really "near the coast". Most of the coast of Washington is beautiful, but even more wet, and pretty remote.

Hmm, that's a fair assessment for the winter but in the summer it's more like AZ since it's a desert.

Very much this.

Jesus. The way Strat and LV describe Colorado you’d think they both lived in Walsenburg.

Never been to Austin myself. I’m not sure when I ever would need to, but a lot of people seem to make a trip there at one time or another.

Texas is huge. There must be bazillions of people there because they spread into Colorado with frequency. Busy people, them Texans.

R2D, how do you feel about that beer from Alpine that people go nuts for? Big Bend Brewing, I think?

I haven't had it, but my best friend raves about it and is super pumped about their new SA spot opening next year.

That’s cool. I think it’s good stuff, but could just be a scarcity market thing. I didn’t know they were opening up a spot in SA? Brew pub?
