Don't they all though?

Not as much as bad whiskey drinking habits do, though

Cold temps mask flavor. This is the primary reason drinking nice whiskey with ice doesn't make sense.

The sad thing is I worked at a couple of wine bars for awhile. Couldn't tell you anything about wine now. It's like I completely deleted all those files from my brain.

That's a good thing. The difference between good wine and fantastic wine is more noticeable in the wallet than on the palate. I'm sure my somm friends would cringe at that statement.

No way Lenny can tell the difference between a 5 dollar bottle of Moscato and a 7 dollar bottle

I mostly agree with this, though some of the most interesting and enjoyable wines take a certain knowledge to identify (but not necessarily a super high price point).

With Scotch ice or even a drop of water can completely change the flavor profile. Counter-intuitively, it makes it harsher.

It's true that cold temps mask flavor, but the purpose of one large rock is to slowly melt and gradually open up the flavor, thereby creating more of a long journey with your whiskey.
