No kids
No wife

Too old to be internetting on a regular basis and not much else going on....

We have fun dating though!

Hi, Lament. Have at it.

I'm meeting up with this super smart, super sexy English teacher today. I've gotta be sure to be looking so fresh & so clean, clean.

Strat, what happened with the Denim Queen of Colorado?

I can change the title of the thread if you would like!

Denim Queen was all about me post date, constant texts, wanting to hang again. She was staying with her friend for a couple nights. Sounds like they had some drama and now her conversing with me has dropped off. Dating is great!

Where did you meet said sexy english teacher?

I have no local prospects lined up currently. I date a lot in Denver and that always puts a wrench in plans. Damn.

Hopefully she'll resurface!

The English teacher hit me up on OKC. We've been exchanging messages for a few days, and she's managed to do quite a number on my imagination, which is good. She's far and away the best prospect I have at the moment. The industrial chick with the kid seems nice and all, but I don't think we have anything in common, and our lifestyles are pretty drastically different. There was a girl who works for a Shakespeare company here that I was crushing on really hard for one hot minute, but I got over that pretty quickly. My co-worker/bandmate has a really hot roommate who is into me, but she's a super heavy drinker so I'm trying to steer clear of that for now.

Are the just not a lot of girls where you are, or have you made your way through the whole dating pool already?

And yeah, I think a thread about the glories of being single deserves a more glorious title.

It's difficult to date here. There is a saying, I did not make it up, that goes "Girls in Vail are like a parking lot. All the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped". There is definitely some truth to that as the ratio of guys to girls is completely out of proportion. Additionally, if you date someone up here and it doesnt work out, there is a good chance of you seeing them on a regular basis and hearing about their current sexcapades. Its best to stay away from that.

There are a few gals in Denver that I am working on right now. All have stated they want to get together when I am around. I hope to make that happen within the next few weeks. There is a cute little blonde girl who appears to be a bit of an artist city dweller in grad school. nice tattoos, a little edgy. I dig. Tinder is where I cyber date.

I've heard good things about Tinder. Unfortunately my phone is super old, so I can't download the app.

:(

"Adventures in Datin' with Strat and Lament" is so much more than just a dating thread, man.

You really ought to upgrade. Tinder is the new hotness right now.

Ruddo, settle. Things will soon reveal themselves.

I'm hoping to get a new phone soon. When I do, downloading Tinder will probably be the first thing I do with it.

I'm trying to pick the right jacket color for my meeting with the teacher. Black, white, or purple? I'm not feeling red or powder blue tonight.

Some are sportcoats. I have white, black, red, powder blue, and pink/gray sportcoats. I'm leaning towards my purple collarless Sgt. Pepper-esque jacket. It's flashy enough without being too flashy.

She wants to meet at Barnes & Nobles and go from there. I'm hoping we end up at either Universal City Walk or the Disney Boardwalk. Maybe see some fireworks and get some food.

I'm not good at picking coats for a date as its not typically my style of dress. Would kind of be out of place pulling that off in Colorado too, perhaps. Id need to see the full ensemble but I have a feeling you are more savvy than I. Good luck to you and your date tonight, sir.

I think the women that are being courted by the single bro's of RM need to pass through an RM test of sorts before it can continue to anything serious.
