Agreed but I will not reduce my purchases. Also I figure with this job I won't be leaving early all the time so I'll make up what I lose.

what will you be doing in this new gig?

Lots of legal reporting stuff regarding people not paying their debts.

Sounds evil

Meh

An enforcer for BoA. Shit.

A good buddy of mine recently moved to the mountains because he was sick of being a Lawyer in Denver. It was litigation work for personal liability/insurance stuff. Awful job and he hated it.

ultiamtely, all of his friends were up in the mountains and he used to live here. he wanted back. he also wanted out of his specific field.

So, he got a desk job at a Real Estate company thinking he might get his brokers license and pursue that path. He didnt really like the job and he's making a poor hourly wage. He started working part-time for a lawyer in town and really enjoyed the work with him. It was a good supplement to his income. He also interviewed at another firm but didnt land the job due to lack of experience in this specific law field.

Longer story short - The guy he was working for on the side has offered him a legit part-time job in hopes to grow and bring him on as a full on associate. My friend wants to head this route because it will allow for a much more comfortable life living up here in the Vail area.

Problem is - for now - it is part time. That is not enough to live on. However, he is still full-time at this desk job at the Real Estate company. He wants to approach them and ask if he can work part-time so he can pursue this law job part-time as well.

My guess is they will tell him to go fuck himself as it is clear which path he will end up taking. With the approaching winter season, there will be tons of people coming to the Valley looking for work.
