I just ate my yogurt with a ruler because I forgot a spoon from home and didn't feel like walking down to the cafeteria

Today on my bike commute to work, I passed three HPD officers on horseback before stopping at an intersection. While waiting for the light to change I became completely mesmerized by a window washer high up on the side of the Marriott, tethered by nothing but bungees and plungers. He looked like an insect up there, systematically wiping and climbing. Higher and higher.

I imagined people inside the room, thirty floors up, enjoying a cup of coffee, opening up their curtains and then being startled by the sight. How many things do you think that window washer sees on the job? How often do people see him? How long does it take him to do this? Would you do a few floors a day?

I completely lost myself in thought watching this guy while the light turned green and the mounted cavalry passed me, then snapped out of it when one of the officers looked down at me and said, "pretty high, huh?" If I actually had been stoned that would have scared the shit out of me.

:haha:

I wonder how many people have sex in their office because he's out there cleaning.

Wife and I went out to what is considered the 'top' restaurant in Wellington for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. Was a great night out - although earlier in the day I had a massive filling pop out of one of my teeth, so I was trying to eat everything on one side of my mouth.

Pro tip. If you go out and plan on getting it on at the end of the night. Don't go out in full kilt attire - takes forever to get off

Bug bite season is definitely here. Went for a walk at lunch and came back with three fresh ones on my arm.
As if my heck of a spider bite didn't already tell me that.

God I'm so glad I live in Colorado. Virtually no bugs to be found around here.

Given that you don't wear anything under a kilt, wouldn't this make it easier?

You'd think so, but no

Today I started tracking my time to find out how much time I've been wasting. Out of the five hours since I woke up:

Wasted time: 4 hours and 40 minutes

Productive time: 20 minutes

Just finished season 2 of Atlanta and that familiar feeling of emptiness is creeping in.

Birds woke me up with their singing outside at 5am.
Traffic was unusually heavy for a Friday, got into work just in time.
Accidently left my lunch at home.
Feels like I am moving in slow motion.
But hey, it's Friday.
