Tonight was the first night in the D Division state seminfinals of the Minute Man Dart League. My team went 8-4. If we win 5 on Thursday before our opponent wins 9, we advance to the finals. 8-)

Last day at my brother's house, and three more days of my month-long holiday left - I'm fighting off incredible sadness at having to return to the shithole that is London.

Billiards, burgers, and beers (and pinball) with the bros tonight. Going to be a stressful day before that though.

Sounds like a great goal to get you through the grind, though.

When I got home from work on Tuesday, my wife was complaining that her back hurt. She's home with the three kids all day, so we figured it was just aches and pains and I gave her a backrub. Yesterday it was worse. I'm now coming to you live from her hospital room, where's she's being prepped for an emergency cholecystectomy--that's a galbladder removal, yo. Exciting times!

6 hours roundtrip is a little much for freaking Yuma.

Oh hey, those are fun. My wife had hers removed about two months after having our son via C-section. That was fun, to have a newborn and you can't do any of the motherly things like, oh, pick him up or feed him.

Hope it goes OK for her.

Yeah she just had a c-section 2 1/2 months ago with the twins; I guess it's a pretty common complication.
