getting teeth cleaned sucks. i swear she cleans the 1/8th of my gums too with that water pick

i had two pulled years ago when i had no insurance. $25 each

no i have insurance and my dentist is the son of the guy who pulled both teeth.

the one they kinda freaked out on since they could see the nerve but i wasnt complaining of pain. they offered me drugs to be safe but i declined

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that . . .

it humorous and not nearly as painful.

both are teeth you cant see when smiling so no worries there (same with the current situation)

went to school with his daughter so he knew my name. he shot me up with novocaine and waited and when i was numb he put the pliers or whatever the technical name was for them and gave a few gentle tugs. he joked it would take more so he braced his foot up near my head and tugged some more.

he then asked if i knew his daughter well. i mumbled she was in my brothers grade and he asked if i ever slept with her. before i could mumble anything he gave a nice tug and tooth was out

a little gauze and the taste of blood in the mouth for two days was all it was

What the shit.

Maybe your expertise is listening.

:haha:

I was told to expect to go over there again today. I'm going to tell them my listening is broken.

Yeah, but did you answer his question?

Got the hospital bill for my son's 6 night stay in December. $19k. Just $300 after insurance, but good grief.

Reading stuff like this makes me so thankful for universal health care. We had a subsidized user pays system for a while many years ago, but the people revolted and it went back to how it is now

I was hospitalized for three days after my stroke. They did the typical work up which includes mri, TEE, EEG, blood tests ect. Over 30k. I think I had to shell out between $1,000 and 2,000 after it was all said and done.

I only had to pay $20 bucks for an x ray of my knee in December though so there is that.

So my dog's anemic!

Took him to a new vet today after discovering his old vet DIED last year.

I'm crushing hard on the new vet. I'm not sure if it's just because she's very physically attractive or if it's also the loving, nurturing way she spoke to my dog as she stuck a syringe up his ass.

He's in pretty good shape for a 10 year old labrador, but his red blood cell count is on the low side.

Took my dog back to the vet for a follow up. I love this woman.

Tango's doing better.

I have a few days off but it's turning into lazy, blah time around the house and now we have a rainy stretch coming up the next several days so I am sure that will not help my mood. I think I have all my tax forms now so I can get that taken care but this vacation is turning into a bust so far.

Finally finished an article I was working on. Now I can relax the rest of the weekend.

I had a similar thing happen to me as Jorge. Went to my regular dentist, but she is away pregnant. Her temp is from the same city as me, and drop dead gorgeous. I even smiled at her when my mouth was open.

One thing about being single on Valentines Day is you don't have to share your bottle of wine with anyone.
