I don't know. It's a top loading machine, I opened it up and there it was, sprawled out on the bottom.

I'm signed up for my first kickboxing class this Saturday. The place does yoga too. I'm hoping to get comfortable with the routine and space then pivot to yoga. My better half is doing it with me. Yoga will be an easier sell. Wish me luck.

kickboxing! I know a few people who love that more than anything. I may try it someday. I hear its a killer workout. Doesn't Rangi do it?

Nah - I went to an MMA class for a few years, but have since dropped that for Jiu-jitsu

I wanna do Jiu-jitsu at some point.

I like the grappling and endurance aspects of it.

It's possible. I just want to know if Pete walked around in dead mouse clothes the past few days.

It's good fun. You should definitely give it a try at some point

Was there a motorcycle anywhere nearby?

We need a sketch by BurtReynolds showing the murder scene.

I discovered the mouse before loading my clothes into the washer. I opened it up, turned on the water, and the mouse was there, alreayd dead. I turned the water off and got it out of there before proceeding.

You need to turn on water before starting your washing machine?

The first thing the machine does when you turn it on is fill up with water.

So yeah, I let the water start, then I add the detergent, then I start throwing clothes in while the water is still pouring in.

Huh. Ours won't fill unless there's something in there.

Do you have a front loader, rangi? Because those obviously need the door to be shut. But most top loaders allow for water to fill as you are loading. I always do do the detergent mixes in the water.

Pete, why do you keep the washer (I guess it's still called a door on a top loader) door open when not in use?

The actual application for the HR position opened this week and closed today. I was finishing my application up when the system decided it didn't want to attach seven of my eight documents. WTF. So I screen-shotted every step of the way, especially the screen that said, "You have six documents not associated with this document" and then listed them out. I sent the pictures to the POC for the position (which happens to be one of my bosses) so they could see that I truly did try to do it correctly.

Good enough for government work, I guess.
