I think I've fielded those too.

Those are oddly specific questions, too.

I opened up my son's iphone the other day to check on something and the app that was open was youtube and he was watching/listening to ASMR videos. I had the conversation with him about routers and how, even if he uses Incognito mode or whatever, it's still tracked.

Well, at least until I'm paying for my own daycare when my kids leave me to die in some shitty old folks home.

Like, with a ceremony and everything? I don't think the 8th graders are getting anything like that at my son's school. Weird.

Yeah. Awards, diplomas, everything.

I never had it, either.

And we found out the our youngest’s elementary school has instituted 4th grade graduation, so we’ll have that one next year. By the time I have grandkids, they’ll have graduation for every fucking grade.

I never understood those types of "graduations". I've got to go to my nephew's kindergarten graduation soon. Umm, dudes got 12 more years, not really anything to celebrate

That was Mrs Wease. I had one graduation. That was after 12th grade. As it should be.

Same. We had a party at the end of pre-school, but that was more of an excuse for the parents to come and see us dress up. It was not a "graduation".

Just back from my son's end-of-year awards ceremony.

I want to die.
