Do y'all have friends who don't get into female singers? Like, they don't admit it, but they need me to intro them to Portis, Massive, Winehouse etc.

Uh, are you lost?

I went to a very small liberal arts college in NE Ohio. We were one of those that were too small to have officially recognized fraternities and sororities, so they basically had clubs with greek names. Translation: basically each sports team had their own club. The soccer team, which I was part of, was named lambda lambda lambda, lol.

I was in one. Rushed my freshman spring but went inactive for my senior year. It was fine. If I had to do it over again I would have waited another year; the people you hang out with changes a lot in college. Or at least it did for me.
I've never done anything fraternity related once I graduated; I think our chapter closed for a few years later on. My mom still gets alumni donation letters mailed to her house from the national organization.

I'm told that's exactly the reason they chose that name. :haha: :shake:

My class was rare in that at least half stuck around living in the house and actively participating all four years.

All this hullabaloo over in the Dixie chicks thread reminded me about the time honored tradition where the respectable, intelligent, woke young women in the University of Washington Greek System would sing their version of Fratboy Take Me Away at parties.

Lol I wasn't a frat boy. I went to college at the beach. Frats were too much of a time commitment that took away from other things, like catching waves.

Sometimes I wonder if a frat would have given me the professional connections to be more successful? Probably still not worth it.
