Just wait til craft NA beer culture takes hold. There are dozens of us!

Bon Appetit: 5 Non-Alcoholic Beers We'd Reach For Anytime

At least wine lovers are smart enough to understand that alcohol free wine is called grape juice. Alcohol free beer is not beer, it's part abomination and part marketing. Drink if you want but don't fool yourself into calling it beer please.

*sparkling cider

By that do you mean carbonated apple juice. If it's alcohol free it's a form of apple juice.

Would that get the taste of NA "beer" out of my mouth? If so, with pleasure and gusto, possibly even panache.

I've had some pretty low moments over the last couple of weeks. I guess it started with the capitol riot. Despair, pessimism, hopelessness...spent most of last week in a weird funk. Which was confusing, because usually what triggers that is not getting enough sleep, unhealthy eating/drinking habits, and allowing my life to become generally disorganized and chaotic. But I've been sleeping 8+ hours a night, have had my diet locked down, and haven't had a drink since NYE. Then I realized, "Oh yeah - this is probably how you would have felt all of 2020 if you weren't drinking every day."

So, progress, I guess.
