I just played against the French Mickey. I was about to checkmate him and he called me "grosse pute" then said some other things I couldn't quite make out. I have a hard enough time with formal French, I don't stand a chance with abbreviated, internet French. Regardless, it was unsportsmanlike

This game was just a goof, but I did watch a YouTube video the other day about how to deal with someone who pulls the Queen out early and tries to wreak havoc and it was very helpful for me.
I'm winning more than I lose by a fair amount now, and my ELO on Rapid is solidly over 700 and progressing upwards steadily. I think if I can get that over 1000 I would be happy.
