This is going to be a tremendous time suck. I just scored 9111. Who can beat it?

Well, I learned that South Africa looks a god damned lot like the American Southwest.

By the way, I don't know the official rules, but I say if you look shit up on Google, you're cheating.

I just pegged something in Canada that was in Australia for a whopping 54 points!

This is a great game. I'm shocked at how relatively close I guessed some of these locations.

It helps that you can zoom in and out of things.

Really? I keep guessing points in South Africa wrong. Apparently, that country is a chameleon.

Keep in mind, relatively for me on that first round meant within 1000-1500 miles for some of them. After playing it a few more times, I finally realized you can navigate more down the roads for more clues. Became somewhat easier.

It's like waking up and not knowing where the fuck you are. Walking around, looking down the streets, investigating signs, trying to piece together where you might be. Tons of fun.

The ones where you're dropped in the total middle-of-nowhere are fun too.

Kenya?

Nope, rural Washington.

Oh well.

I got 10622 for the first try. It is fun. An interesting way to get the "slice of life" of different parts of the world. :)

OK, seriously? I got Midway Islands and Mindelo (a tiny island in the Cape Verde off the west coast of Africa) in the same game. Talk about impossible to figure out where the hell you are.

Played this about 10 times now, still enjoying it a lot. The best I've done is 19,000 something. And, the closest I've gotten to the marker was 6 miles for Detroit. I limit my overnavigating down the roads. They should set a time limit for each location.

I was able to get something in under a 1/4 km. It helps when you're in the middle of the Appalachian State football field.

Damn you B!

Heh, the very first country that I saw was right in front of a sign that said "Welcome to Western Australia".
