I think as the technology and skill of the CG has increased, their movies are looking increasingly creepy. Incredibles 2 fell into the uncanny valley several times.

i don't wanna start a Star Wars debate bc i don't want to kill myself today... but i'd say LV's argument about Pixar films can also be said for Star Wars films.

they're all telling the same stories... just with different techniques, characters, and target audiences.
