It's kind of cool wearing a cape, especially with a breeze.

I miss people. I miss affordable food and culture. I miss places being open past 9 o clock that aren't sports bars and dance clubs. I miss character. I miss good music. I miss having shit in common with dudes other than "lets shred, bro".

Living in Denver im sure is different, but living in Vail might be starting to wear on me.

It's give-and-take. Grass is greener, yadda yadda. With the offerings of the city also comes the daily grind. Most of the stuff you mention we end up not even doing bc we're so wiped after work and commuting, etc. Wife and I have been in the opposite boat where, at some point, we want to get out of the city.

Yeah... ok then let me rephrase...

Fuck irresponsible deadbeats and addicts who turn their children's lives into nightmares of neglect and trauma! I work with kids to try to be a beacon of light and hope and fun and care and love as they attempt to navigate through fogs of confusion that their parents provide for them... in most cases.

Sorry... On 10/5 a parent of one of my students committed suicide.

It's unbelievable how much trauma and neglect you see or hear about as a teacher. Its almost too much at times, but in some cases the school is all they have... Its their safe haven.

I can definitely relate, but spending a few days in Seattle every couple of months seems to be enough for me for now.

Sometimes I read the threads about the various Star Wars cartoons you people like for some reason. I don't understand any of it and it all sounds real stupid. But I still read em
