I think I love the bike share. I used it for the first time on Sunday because they had a free day and I messed up the brakes on my bike and haven't fixed them yet. I biked from the station right around the corner from my apartment to this bakery I wanted to go to. I got a sweet treat and then walked down this really cool street I've never seen before to a park that I really like. After a while, I got a bike from one of the stations at the park, and went home.
No need to carry my bike downstairs or upstairs at my apartment. No need to lock up the bike and get my hands dirty, and then worry that someone is stealing it. I can walk to a different neighborhood and not have to walk back. I just took one this mornibg to go to work and it was great. There is a station right outside the door of my building. So easy.

Has dockless sharing made it to your city yet? While visiting San Antonio earlier this week I was infatuated by the dockless scooters strewn across the city sidewalks like some apocalyptic fallout scene.

Nah, not here. Idk how it would work. Do people use the scpoters in the bike lane or on the sidewalk?

I asked around. It's the law to use the bike lane but everyone was using the sidewalk when I was there. It was a goddamn circus.

Charlotte has the dockless bike share. Saw one on a sidewalk in the middle of a bridge. I've always wondered what that person's story was

Dockless bike shares are great until they start ending up in the harbor.

Speaking of savages, I'm tired of everyone riding on the sidewalk.

There is nothing quite so calming and centering for me as coasting down a long hill.

I watched a lot of mugging videos when I first started night riding. Know your enemy and always be prepared for a multitude of attacks. Scares the shit out of me to think about it but I feel like I'm a much more alert rider at night.

On my ride home late last night I saw a dude about two blocks ahead of me pacing around the sidewalk. When I got closer he started towards me shouting “sir, excuse me. I need help!”

No thank you.
